I am going to upgrade my system recently :
What is my list :

ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe
Athlon X2 5000 BE
1x GeForce 8800GTS (G92) 512MB
1xWD 500GB 7200RPM
2xPioneer DVD-RW
Creative X-Fi Xtreme Music

I still make choice on my psu ? I see many guys here strongly recommend Corsair and PC cooling and Antec here ,like CORSAIR-750TX PC Power & Cooling S75QB .
my question is :
one of my friend recommend silverstone to me ? but I am not familiar with this brand ,can any friend here can advise me some suggestions?
1. who made for silverstone ? also seasonic or other ? what's siverstone review ?
2.I see it's ST 1200w is only $259.99 runs on newegg,how's this psu ?
3.how's its ST60F 70F and 75F , does it fit for my system ?
I really appreciated.

Go to www.JonnyGuru.com and look for Silverstone PSU reviews there.

1) They use a lot of companies: FSP, Seventeem, Etasis, Enhance, etc
2) You do not need a 1200W PSU for that system. A good quality 500W PSU is all that you need.
3) Hit up JonnyGuru.com for for a general idea of those PSUs.

While Silverstone PSUs are pretty good, Corsair and PC Power&Cooling tend to be recommended more often due to their prices or better brand recognition.

it's very helpful, thank you so much.
one question is I didn't heard if Etasis, Enhance before ?
are they also come from Taiwan ? any info for Etasis, Enhance ? which brands they made products for ?
thank you

I'm not normally one of those "you don't need all that power" type of guys, but I have to admit that if all you have is a single 8800 GTS 512MB, you don't need that much power. I have the same card with watercooling, multiple HDD's, etc. and only use a 500W power supply.

maybe EA500 or Seasonic 500ES is good chioce for me . EA500 is only$59.99 with free shipping right now .

Dang. So which 500W PSU are you using? Just curious.
