Hey everyone,

So my PC was running fine this morning until I returned from a brief jog only to find my computer not working. What happened was my housekeeper was cleaning my office and managed to knock the USB mouse out of it's port (side case connector) and in doing so destroyed that USB connector (I guess when she knocked it out it bent the connector). Anyway, I powered on the PC, fans and case LEDs turned on, everything seemed fine until I noticed that the display wasn't initiating. The activity light was a constant red (it usually blinks) and the power LED wasn't even working (it's usually a constant green). My first thought was that the computer's chassis intrusion function had kicked in. Well, this is where I am at now. If anyone has any idea as to what I could try to resolve this issue or what it might be I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you.

Side case connector? You mean the front panel connector?

Open up the case and dissconect it from the motherboard.

Unplug the side connector from the motherboard header and use a different USB port for your mouse. If that doesn't work, there's some other problem.
