Show Your LCD(s) setups!!!

2 23" 2343BWX 2048x1152 on left, middle, and Dell W2409 on right

Are you happy with those monitors? I'm planning to buy one of those, so could you tell me some pros/cons? :p

Edit: I'm planning to buy either the 2343NW or 2343BW. Is there any other differences between them than pivot and DVI-port?

Diaz, there truly was no reason for you to quote Jadawg's photo...

Next time just reply either without it, or make a note like "@jadawg" in your post please?

@Z(+)DIAC

Sorry, I don't know why but this forum only shows me the links of the pictures, so I didn't notice that I actually quoted the whole picture.

@Diaz\ Yes, the lcds are great! I love that they are higher than 1920x1200 in pixel count yet still 16:9, I think the color is excellent (for a TN panel) right out of the box, and I only had to drop 207 with tax for each @ my local microcenter. I can't really name a con to be honest, other than it being a TN panel...hmmm...it doesn't line up very well with my dell w2409 on the right but that was to be expected. The nonstandard resolution can cause some problems, - not with games but rather wallpapers and such. The bezel is very glossy and shows fingerprints quite easily. My 4850x2 had some problems initially with enabling disabling secondary monitors and enabling xfire. Also DVI-DVI is native so I wouldn't think of linking the lcd to my pc any other way and considering 99% of video cards have DVI as a primary connector I see no reason to incorporate HDMI other than if you wanted to view TV on it.

Okay, is there any backlight leaks when watching something black?

I guess that's going to replace my 26" 1920x1200. ;)

Damn those are huge panels. How did you get Eyefnity working with that orientation? What flight sim is that?

I know it's messy, and crappy pics from droid. Moved in 2 weeks ago. New desk and monitor delivered last week. Monitor is Asus VW266H and laptop is Asus G51vx. View is my backyard. I'll update once I finish unpacking.

After reviewing various reviews here I ordered the VW266H. VW266H was $235 after rebates/BCB. I'm ordering another before rebate expires Friday. I use it for work and the occasional game.

Nevermind, it looks like you fixed it after I posted.

@Diaz there is a tiny bit on the bottom of the panel. I had to turn off adjacent screens turn off lighting in room, take a screenshot and compare to the displayed image to tell though.

Look like two Necs mounted sideways. Is that an iMac or just an Apple monitor?

That's an imac with two extra displays connected to another computer running windows. Nice setup. Personally i would prefer two of the same size displays though

Just got some new monitors

i made the speaker stands my self which is why they are almost the perfect height

the netbook is for torrenting "linux distos"

Finally got the chance to grab a picture of my new Dell Ultrasharp u2711, 2560x1440 is incredible, made the switch from 3x 1920x1200 painless for the most part.
The color vibrancy is insane compared to those TN panels.

Thanks everyone for the comments :D

I live in Panama City, Panama right now :)

I like it just fine, it could be worse...could be limestone. The living room, dining room, formal room, and bathrooms (oversize showers included) are all done in marble...I can deal with this floor for the bedrooms :)

Thanks! I like it, just wish I had a terrace :(

And I was 100% sure the view was from china. =)

somthing looks off to me in that image not sure what but something looks off maybe the mist and the sun alinement it just looks strange

Just setup my eyefinity last night.

So far tried L4D, L4D2 and DA. Fun. Can't seem to figure out how to get Grid to not look stretched.

I just can't fathom using a trackball for everyday activities and for games.. how do you do it?

You probably just need to adjust your aspect ratio. Mine is set to Normal, but there are a ton of options. Eyefinity can throw off what the game senses, but there's usually 1 or 2 that look right. Here's mine:

5040x1200 (with bezel management)

So far all of the codemaster racing games I've tried have worked perfectly with eyefinity.

Thanks. I feel like an idiot. After patching, it's fine. Love the trackball. When playing FPS, I can spin around by spinning a ball and shoot anyone from behind. With a mouse, I'm a lot slower and less precise. I use one at work also. Was introduced to trackballs way back when I had to use an Apple at work.

Eyefinity is great. And it's true, you don't notice the bezels when playing.

Damn, now I want an eyefinity setup. I love GRID and that screen shot just makes me want go out and spend lots of cash. Got 3 monitors but not on one PC. Need the vid card as well.:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

Have you all seen the movie Avatar?

I saw at the control station all these oval looking shape glass monitor.

It would be nice if someone can make a 27" or 30" and make it 3 monitors length and oval shape and thin LED panel are already here.

ebisan, are you saying the ball is better than a mouse!? thats amazing to know, i always wanted to use the ball, but used a mouse instead because people said the mouse was better. is the ball better?
