Do we really need this many pictures? We get it - you trade stocks and have a lot of money. Bravo. We didn't need 18 pictures of the same monitors from slightly different angles to drive the point home.

Quiet, kid. The only reason I called you out is because you were terribly out of line in your statement. In a thread dedicated to posting pictures of LCDs, that guy did nothing wrong and you shouldn't have jumped on him. It was a horrible display of immaturity and jealousy. This is no place for your teenage angst.

Call it "wannabe moderating" if you please, but I visit this thread often and I would really like it if I didn't see anymore comments like that, and if you would like to discuss it more, take it to private messages as I don't want to get banned tonight. Thank you.

Ok, first of all, chill out with the kid stuff. I probably have t-shirts older than you. Second thing, he might not have done anything 'wrong' per say, but he could have been more considerate. I had to page down -5- times to get through his pictures, and the pics were all basically the same, just minor angle changes. Is it a big deal? No. However it was simply unnecessary to post 18 very similar pictures. Maybe I'm wrong, but it looked like he was fishing for more attention than everyone else who managed to keep it to a reasonable amount of pics.

I call it waving your e-penis around trying to assert some kind of authority that you don't posess. I visit this thread often as well, and I would really like it if I didn't have to hit page down 5 friggin times through 18 pictures of the same monitors, at slightly different angles, which is why I spoke up. However, you'll note that I managed to say my piece without calling the guy a jackass.

if you mean the thing with the blue glowing ring. that is a hdd enclosure.

i found it at a discounter, it reads "Gericom Multi-function Storage" on the side. It has a card reader and 2 usb ports. I have a 250gig samsung hd in it. i think i payed around 120€ for it (that is with the hdd). It´s body is made out of aluminium :)

In any case, they're great monitors outside of the silly DVI problems. I'm sure you'll love 'em.
 
 
well actually those keyboard feel weird to get used to.

I think it would be harder to get used to than the keyboard on the dell 710m I just got.
When using that keyboard it seems as if the keys are more spaced out which strained my hands.
 
i have a kensington mac keyboard, it looks nice but is also terrible for typing. i agree with you, maybe they could combine mac looks with a microsoft keyboard.
