Show Your LCD(s) setups!!!

No, I'm not in Asia :p Located in Texas. My grandmother (Located in France) has sent me for a couple years now, TinTin Memorabilia and all of the books (Including the first). Sorry, I'm not selling the poster. Yes its crooked becuase I can't hang things straight so I said screw it, I'll make it really crooked. If you guys want me to post Pics of my TinTin collection, I'll be happy too.

Ya, I'm going to get the poster framed along with another tintin poster, and it will cover up the holes from the tacks. Thanks, I paid for all of the setup, but also got a lot of it free. The desk, server and FreeBSD box were all free from Craigslist.

most are but its good to think that youre not. of course most people with 3 teeth in their month, jailhouse tats, and kids all all over the place dont think they are trashy. its all perspective.

and likewise, most people who talk shit about others on the internet don't think they're pussies, even though they are. like you said, its all perspective.

Not anymore, it was fun while it lasted. Honestly I wouldn't want dual 30's as my main display, it is too big and I wouldn't want to sit in the middle where the split is between the displays, that's why I went tripple monitor, so I can sit in front of the center and have the sides wrap around me. I also don't really like resizing windows and having to move them all around, especially my webrowser on such a large display. In fact even this single 30 is a tad too big for me really for normal office work, and my desk. I'd be comfortable with a 2407 as the center display. But for gaming, nothing beats the 30, it is pure eye sex.

That is the exact setup I'm planning to get soon. What video cards are you using to drive that?

2x 7900 GTX's

the great thing about this setup is that the 2007's turned to portrait mode line up exactly with the height of the 3007 from the bottom of the bezel to the top, so it lines up perfectly and looks slick

I got my 2407fpw in yesterday to replace my damaged FW900 ( damaged during shipping, got my money back). Monitor to the left is a 2007fp. Isn't a perfect match for the 2407, but its close enough.

Count me in I think im going to go with the exact same setup soon too. Right now I have dual 2405's and I agree I dont like sitting in the middle where the crack is and alwaays having to look left or right to see what im doing. Thought about dual 3007's but id end up in the same situation I am now. Will go with the 7800 gtx I have and hopefully pair it up with a 7950 gtx.

The fact is that I've been working on dual 21's for years now and am finally ready to upgrade to LCD but I want to actually "improve" my display situation instead of replacing CRT with LCD. In my current situation, I am running 1600x1200 on both displays with the "gutter" down the middle. In most of the work that I do, I am usually working with one screen where I keep the workspace maximized and all the toolbars off on the other monitor (like AutoCAD and Gimp). But this means that there's always a full 21" CRT that's only getting moderate use. With a single 3007 in the middle and dual 20's on the sides, I will be getting more pixels in total, and a more sensible arrangement of multiple screens.

I wish i had enough money to have even one flat panel display of decent quality......anyone want to make charitable donations, drop me a line! :D :D

but looking at the photos, they don't seem to line up, it looks like the smaller monitor is lower by 0.5 to 1 inch.

Uh, the 3007 isn't sitting directly on the table :D

He has the 3007 sitting on the power box. It would bother me but it's his setup. Still damn good at that.

could've sworn i saw a pic where you had 3 3007's littleme, what kind of ubertastic job gives you the funds to keep up such dominance in the display arena?

My 1st LCD. The Samsung 930B that I got at that Office Depot sale

pretty nice LCD for the money

The Patriarchal Cross seems to be a symbol of importance to you. I really like the way its incorporated into your mod and repeated as your screen saver. Family history?
