My viewsonic VA1912W. Since the bigger widescreens are not available in pakistan, I bought this 8ms viewsonic lcd, quite satisfied.

With lights off. It can give you a better idea of the brighness of the screen rather than in above picture.

The best shot I could take. Looks like my photography skills are getting worse every day.

Quake 4, construction zone level start. This was the best shot I could take before my camera battery drained fully and I had to plug it in for recharge.

after this shot I realized what I have been doing wrong in taking pictures from my camera but I think all above pictures give you an idea of the screen well.

image quality!:)
ah, ok :)

It's amazing, perfect image quality on 1280 x 1024, which is its native res. It has pre-set color options, one for movies, one for text, and a user-set one. It doesn't even compare to my old crt, it blows it away.

3 19" Samsung 913v's and a 7" widescreen touchscreen for MP3 machine. Looking at upgrading to Samsung 940T's soon. and yes, am sticking with Samsung becuase I get big discounts on Samsungs from work. Plus I like them. I also have a 15" Acer that goes on my web surfing box for th wife.

I'm using a Radeon 7000 and that is only because it was the cheapest I found on ebay. Had to get a 3rd card to enable multiple displays whilst having SLi enabled. From what I've read as long as the PCI card isn't the same 'make' as your main cards (ATi/nvidia) you'll be good to go.

All this is assuming your running an SLi/xfire rig, if not I'm sure any PCI card will do.
Wont that old card kill your framerates in games? Or do the SLI cards do the dirty work and pass the rendered frames off to the Radeon?

the pci card would be running the 2 side monitors, the game would only run on the main monitor which is powered by the sli setup(sli wont work with multiple monitors, ie the reason for the pci card).

Right I'm just about finshed with my rig now :

26" lcd on top is for tv and PS2. SLi runs 2005fpw, browsing etc on the 2 1704's.....

Thats exactly right.

I run games on the 2005fpw and that has SLi performance. Like darkhorse says, when SLi is enabled multiple monitor support is disabled, so to get around this you use a PCI card. The 2 side monitors are solely for browsing, msn/xfire etc. whilst gaming.

I did try windowing ut 2k4 and stretching over the the 3 monitors but halfway across the 3rd the game crashed from lack of memory on the Radeon. Plus it was choppy as hell, obviously dropping to the Radeon's level.

Heres my new setup

BenQ FP202W 20" @ 1680 x 1050 main PC monitor
and the TV is setup as a second monitor
Sony Bravia 26" LCD HDTV @ 1360 x 768

Very versatile setup i reckon, i love it!

what desk is that?

Its a desk from a cheap chain store in Australia called the Warehouse, not sure if you guys OS have it. But it was only $180AUS and suited me perfectly, nice and large return style desk with built in filing cabinet.

Heres a pic of the complete desk + extra filing cabinet with the printer on top

Thanks Jordan1

w/ 3 display, can you using 2 displays to stretch to display one program (for e.g., one gigantic JPG file that covers 2 displays) but leave your 3rd LCD display something totally different?

If your set to span I would think so yeah. I don't span and just tried doing it and it wasn't having any of it. A pic over 2 monitors would look wierd on this setup as the res height of the 2005 and 1704 are different, so the image would be skewed, with 3 of the same monitors the only problem would be the bezels splitting the image.

I did span half life 2 over 2 19" tft's a while back and that looked awesome....just the crosshair was split thru the middle so wasn't really playable.
