But why 2 vertical APC UPS? You only have 1 computer sys.

Dude i use one for my puter an one for my screen and peripherials. Not a big issue with my new house but the place i leased while my house was being built had realy bad power, there were brown outs every 30 seconds, I like to protect my expensive equipment.

Plus they come in handy when i am building rigs for others

Living in US w/ such bad power, I won't put up w/ it. I would call the elec. co. long ago. There is a component inside your APC UPS, called Varsistor, it can withstand brown out, but if it happens every 30 sec. ongoingly each day, that component would be long gone inside by now.

So if you have a surge by lightning, it will fly everything because that components has been weaken in your last place. I have seen it happened to any UPS, it can no longer withstand something such as a lightning surge.

Just got these earlier this week. Two 19" widescreen AG Neova CW-19s, I have them running at 2880x900, I'm in love with the setup:

Hey Patrik, I really like your setup.. very clean.
What kind of power supply are you using? Is it liquid cooled? Let me know how you're keeping your system cool because the thing that I hate about mine is just how hot it gets! Cheers :)

My setup, nothing special.... all the way from Sweden

How can you use the DVD/CD drive, won't you have to walk over each time you need to use the drive?

And how do you like the Zalman cooling fan? It is not a direct fan cooling facing the CPU, it brings the heat up and then the fan kicks in. So I thought the weakest link is the part where the fan is NOT directly blowing the CPU, and is not as effective as the other Zalman that blow the CPU directly. What do you think?

I finally got my hands on the Philips 23" 230WP7NS and it looks fantastic. But I'm gonna have to get a replacement due to backlight leakage in the top right hand side of the screen. Gutted :(

I dont use the Cd drive that much, using daemon a lot more. Just using the Cd drive when im installing Windows or burning cd`s wich i dont do often either.

The zalman works great, mounted the wrong way some guys says but i dont know if its possible to mount it any other way with my DFI mobo.

Just take a look at the pic....

2 x Prime 95 ... wont get hotter than that i think...

mr_zen256, I like your Wacom tablet. Do you use it for graphic design? I was thinking of getting one myself. What model is that and how do you like it? Thanks!

Cool setup btw

inotocracy, how is the image quality on these monitors?

Crisp text, great color reproduction; the only down side is no DVI. I'm happy with my purchase :)

My 2005fpw :)

this makes it look like its got a lot more backlight bleeding than it actually has.

Cool setup btw

It is a Wacom Intuos3 9x12 and yes I use it for graphic design and illustration. I think the Intuos3 is a fantastic tablet and for all you widescreen lovers out there they have released a panoramic tablet to suit widescreen...

yes i game on this setup. 1920x1200 native res, max settings, no AA/AF.]

plus, you don't really need AA as much when you're at those big resolutions... it really spaces those jaggies out nicely. :)

how is the aspire case? it looks roomy, i just hate the build quality (we have a display model at fry's, it fell apart -_-) And what's with all the diesel shoe boxes? you either own alot of shoes or you work at a shoestore. . or something? I'm liking the monitor, i have two of the vx724, i can tell if yours is the 17 or 19 inch version. what's with the tape on it though?

not a horrible setup though, pretty good.

Nice. But I mean a real user review. I love those kinds of things.

Actually Im looking at the x-discovery

but where is the cross hair mouse thing?

its only temporary (but not hard to figure out ;) ) it's just my stupid iogear KVM switcher isn't working with my mouse/keyboard setup, whenver i connect it either my keyboard doesn't work or my mouse doesn't, but never do both work or don't work, its just one.
