    Looks like just the standard keyboard that comes shipped with Dell PCs these days.

    Nice setup! Can you tell me how you have that setup? Do you use 2 videocards and 4 DVI cables? I'm interested in doing the same setup as soon as the Dell 30" goes on sale again.

    I'd go with two seperates, one for two and a single, you'll find the triples (or large doubles like I have) you start to lose some positioning as the monitors bump into each other, you'll gain more flexibility keeping them separate.

    @CLock3: thanks, cross-posted.
    @thepawn: I updated the post to say that I'm looking for a silent 24" IPS monitor that's not wide-gamut, and I'll power it with a data storage system I'm building. Anyway, you wouldn't believe how rare standard-gamut IPS monitors are. It looks like I'll go for a NEC LCD2490WUXi or LCD2490WUXi2.

    Or at least move the chunks of pineapple can to the middle for symmetry.

    That's some keen sense of observation. No comments on the Brain Toniq though, or the training knife blade in the center picture?

    the laptop is a macbook pro 17"uni

    the other is a gateway with dual dell screens, one 30" and another 24"

    i need the space just to feel better when working. When you spend
    a lot of hours in front of the computer ANYTHING to make it a pleasant experience
    counts.

    Wired sucks, we can all agree on that. Also, what if the Mamba's battery doesn't last for an entire day? You'll have to plug it in.

    I much prefer the Logitech G7, which comes with 2 batteries. One stays in the mouse, while the other one charges in the wireless receiver. When the mouse battery dies, you just switch it for the one charged in the receiver. Brilliant.

    Here is my room full of LCD's, a projector, and my laptops (the tiny dell one is my work lappy). The cabling sucks but I still need a day off to fix it all up.

    I charge my mamba overnight every night and the only times I've ever had it run out while using it is if I forgot to charge it for more then 2 daysovernight...making it temporarily wired is easy (it's a USB cable) and I've never had to use it more then an hour or so wired before I was done for the day and just put it on the charger again. :) The 2 times I've had to cable it in the 2 months I've owned it is far less then the battery swapping I was doing for my G7.... I was originally hesitant about the Mamba because of the battery, but I've been pleasantly surprised that its a non-issue.
