Should I upgrade?

I'm currently using a Thermaltake TR2 psu. I know it's crap but I didn't need much for my old X800.

My system is:
Amd 64 3000+
1 80GB HD
1 DVD Burner
X1800 (Upgrading from a X800, which is the reason why I'm asking this.)
and a few little things like fans and stuff.

Should I upgrade the powersupply or am I safe?

You should upgrade, because that Thermaltake is not a very good PSU. There's no way to know whether or not it will end up causing harm to your components, so the only truly safe course of action would be to purchase a decent PSU. Conversely, it's possible that you could carry on with your current PSU and nothing bad will ever happen. It's up to you whether or not you're willing to take the risk.

Don't really game as much. I only use it to play CS1.6 and surf the web.

I got the card for free anyway. I was thinking about getting the PSU, can probably last me around 5 years.
