hi, right now i have a Enermax Eg495p-ve PSU, i just upgrade to the system in my sig. what i want to know is, should i change the PSU..

The Enermax is a decent PSU, but it's old and I'm unable to find information regarding the total amperage available across the +12V rails, so my recommendation would be to replace it with a more modern PSU, considering the fact that you're running a fairly power-hungry CPU as well as a high-end video card.

Try it and see, I'm pretty sure you'll be fine. I had a EG425P-VE powering my set-up for ages before I change it recently. 32 amps with a 285 is doable

everything is running fine, minimum load on the system right now, i was more concerned with the age like Zero82z mentioned, i guess after a new psu am done upgrading for a year or so, unless i get a good deal on a am3 mb and some ram.

thanks for the reply peeps...

thanks

Cool, good to know it works. Having owned a couple of Enermax PSUs over the years they have been excellent without fail.
