well eye candy isnt of the most concern. though i think it does match my case.....

i know the x850 came out months ago.

anyone have one?
 
machwireless I just want to say its great to see a female enthusiast! At my age (16) I still have not found one girl that shares this hobby with me. I dont exactly look like a Computer Nerd (I am proud to be one though!) and so alot of the girls I have gone out with are just so completly diffrent that it well to put it bluntly sucks!
I went on my rant but I had too! Welcome to the fourms.

You can get the X850XTPE for about the same price... you can get the X850XT for a little <$400 but to be honest it would be more worth it to get the 7800 for $500 IMO. Just not a real contest because they both already are too expensive than they should be and the only way to get a better deal is to get like an X800pro VIVO and unlock the pipes and OC to XT speeds (if you can). Otherwise the price/perf ratios are just really bad at that speed and/or price range.

QFT, it doesn't get any better, most women are too worried about drama, watching the newest movies, getting drunk, high/shot up, getting laid, or their hair to even realize the unique and interesting thing called a computer and don't even get me started on people in general who don't care how it works.

oh now dont get my wrong.

i get biweekly manicures and pedicures. my braids cost me about $200 a pop. and i always have on cute gear.

but i spend the other time on computers and cellular technology.

wait until i patent my new phone (giggling)

lol - eye candy meaning, HDR lighting effects and smart shader 3.0, etc... the 7800GTX is the best performing card available right now... and it OCs like a monster... what mobo were you thinking about getting? DFI makes a real screamer... if performance is what you're after...
