shortest psu for xqpack???

hey does anyone know of the shortest dvd cd burner combo drive or dvd burner drive? its for a xqpack and im looking for the maximum room between cdrom and psu.
 
lite-ons and newer benq's are the shortest. toshiba, pioneer and plextor are the longest.
the shortest psu is the mge magnum 600, which is an external psu. you cant get any shorter than that.
 
i have a fsp 450 watt psu its only 140mm long its very short like it was made for the xqpack but still squeezed in a 120mm fan.
 
buhahaha i just looked at my thread title and realized it says shortest psu for xqpack but what i meant to say is what is the shortest cdrom lol.
already have a short psu.
teaches me to make a thread in .8 seconds at 5am before work......

so liteon is the shortest for sure? what about nec?
its too bad stuff like this isnt documented...
 
looked on the net and seen one report of the memorex dvd burner at 140mm but after looking it seems to be 7.8 inches long or 198 mm which is way too long for xqpack. can anybody confirm? does anybody have this dvdrom?

Just to add to brandinb's fine list, Asus DVD burners are 180mm. At least the DRW-1608P3S and DRW-1608P2S models are.

I have the P2S and I've been using the stock PS in the X-Qpack for 3 months without problems, but I'm thinking about replacing it. I'll be sure to post my results when I do.
