So the stock PSU in my Qpack is on it's last leg.

I know you can fit a standard size ATX supply, but I'm not changing my optical drives around to do so.

Can anyone suggest a short power supply that will fit nicely, yet not be a total POS? :)

I wish Newegg gave dimensions of their PSU's.. :(

What's the rest of your hardware? What's your video card? If you aren't running any 8-pin video cards, I'd say something like Antec's Neo550 will be fine.

Hell, my Lanparty rig is getting a 4850 and Q9300 with an Earthwatts 380W, so you don't need much.

Sorry, it's the second PC in my sig. AMD x2 3600, ATI x1950Pro video card.

Looks like the Earthwatts is about 4.5" deep, vs the 5.9" for the Neo.

Hrm, the Earthwatts 380 is $60 shipped from the egg. I'll have to measure when I get home.

I would suppose 380 should be enough, not to mention this box very rarely ever sees any kind of graphics. It's mainly a folding rig/internet surfer.

Yep, Earthwatts is plenty. I'll check the sizes when I get home, I have the EW380 in my LANbox and a NeoHE550 on the shelf. I could've sworn they were the same size, at least up to the 550W. The 650 may be different because it's from a completely different series.

For $60 it's not worth it, but for $25 if you get lucky it definitely is.

The NeoHE550 is at most 1/4" longer than the EarthWatts 380, btw. I just put them side by side. Literally, a quarter inch at most.

The Corsair is a good deal, but too long for the case with my current optical drive. :/

Mav,
The 550, is it an HE? The only Neo HE I can find on the Antec site is a 380, but the rest of the Neo line reports they are 5.9" deep. :/

Mine is an HE, yes. The new ones are just called NeoPower 550, but are just renamed from the original NeoHE series. Even the box looks the same, minus two letters.
