Shipping a bare processer???

Im not 100% sure on how to go about this. I have a socket A 3000+ that i just sold and im wondering how i should ship it, i dont have any of the orisinal packaging. Any tips?
 
Thin foam rubber will help in protecting the pins - about 1/8" to 3/16" should be sufficient. Wrap the cpu in the foam rubber (a couple layers ought to do it) and tape it all together, then place it in a small box (the tighter the fit the better.) You don't want anything flopping around in the shipping container either so if you put the small box in a bigger one make sure its all nice and snug. I have received and sent cpu's in this way and never had a problem.
