Shadow Harvest: Phantom Ops

The development background looks interesting but $40 for a very likely to be flawed Indie game is pretty steep.

^ I concur. Love the action genre, but this has the potential to be a preorder mistake. Physical copy is $29 on Amazon for those interested.

That might be a safer gamble. At $30 I'm willing to be VERY forgiving if this thing scratches a few itches for me like I hope it does.

And I try to support Indie games that even remotely interest me in general, which this one definitely does. :)

PC exclusive, too. :)

Im debating in whether to get this or not.. Hopefully someone took the plunge and lets us know if it's worth it or not. ;)

interested as well...don't feel like being the guinea pig though to some indie dev studio. going to hold out for some user reviews

update: just stumbled upon the thread below, instant deal-breaker for me. why the hell would they develop a PC only title w/ a 30/60 FPS....stupid, stupid, stupid

Looks pretty cool to me. The muzzle flash seems a bit overdone, though.

Initial impressions posted in the Steam forums say it's a fairly decent romp. Something to play on a Saturday afternoon between 2-4pm when it's raining outside, the wife's out shopping, you're done spanking it to porn, you're out of beer, and you've just found that your dog likes the taste of your Assassins Creed Brotherhood disc.

I'd be all over this if it was 2 player co-op. Why are there not more co-op games for PC. like Army of Two or Halo or Gears of War etc.

They forget we have 120Hz LCDs not goddamn TVs like the idiot console crowd. I can't honestly call anyone a PC developer who does something that stupid.

Consensus I'm gathering up around and about to a man says this game is poop. That's too bad. Oh well.
