I'm looking for a cheap SFF 2-4 bay diskless backup solution. I already have a dedicated NUS device and just want a mirrored array to do local backups of my vital data off that device. It doesn't have to be extremely fast because I'm only going to be using it for weekly backups once the initial backup is done. I just want something trustworthy that is easy to configure and not on the low end transfer speed wise. I'm going to put 2x 3TB drives in it to start off so I need at least a dual bay enclosure (although a 4 bay wouldn't be out of the question for future expansion).

Is there anything like this that will perform reasonably well and isn't $300-$400 like the Synology or ReadyNAS devices?
