So I have a little casemod project I will be partaking in in the next month or so with the PSU relocation to another area, only thing is the longer PSUs will only fit the relocation area. current setup in sig, wondering what would be the best psu to get? would a shuttle PC50 be okay for my setup? looking for quiet here.

and if you're wondering, i'm putting a 140mm rad + fan in the area where the PSU is coming from.

Wait, so you're looking for a 1U or Shuttle sized PSU?

Is this a scratch made case or are you modding a case? If modding a case, what case is it?

Thermaltake Lanbox.

either or on the shuttle / 1u psu, just looking for the psu to handle my sff pc with an idea of silence.

PSU will fit above the expansion cards with slight bracket creation.

The Thermaltake Lanbox can accommodate standard ATX PSUs, although I don't know the length constraints. Can you measure the amount of length that you have available for a PSU in your case?

I would be relocating the PSU, my PSU size constraints would be 3.9'' x 2.3'' x 8.5'' or 10cm x 6cm x 22cm

Just FYI 1Us are usually loud as @#^*@&^!. 40mm fans & they probably just run at full speed all the time.

Server PSU and quiet? There's a reason why one wants to use earplugs while spending more than a minute in a server room :p
