hi.

i am going to build a small data server consisting of 2 1 tb harddrives containing my files
and 1 300 gb harddrive for os, all sata. the cpu i want to use is an amd x2 3800+ ee. there wont be a cd/dvd drive in the case. anyway i would like to receive some suggestions to which mobo i should use.
since i want my build 2b as cheap as possible i dont want to spend more then 60 euros on the mobo. by the way it has to be matx since im using the lian li v350b case.
i already checked some online stores but i am quite uncertain whether or not the mobos i
found are adequate for my build. in addition i will only use 2 1gb rams so i dont need a mobo with 4 ram sockets

maybe you can comment on the following mobos:
1. Asus M2N-CM DVI, nForce 630a , 50 euros
2. Foxconn A74MX-K, 740g, 50 euros
3. GigaByte GA-M68SM-S2L, nForce 630a, 55 euros

sanks so far

I'm not sure those Nvidia boards are available in the U.S. market (I can't find them, but I didn't look "too" hard).

Personally, I don't think you'd have problems with any of them once you got it up and running.

Are you running RAID with those 2x1TB drives?

well i am not in the us, actually im from germany.

yes, i want them to be in a raid 0 and all boards support this.

i am not sure though if there are major differences between the chipsets apart from
the number of sata and pci slots supported.

I meant that more in that I can't find a lot of info on the boards because they aren't in the U.S. market ;).

I doubt you'd notice a difference running either of the boards, except maybe with the IGP graphics. I'm not sure which one is better off the top of my head, but if you're using a vid card, than you probably wouldn't notice the difference between the boards.
