The weapons seem too.... serious?
Yeah, and here's the intie to go with the trailer: http://pc.ign.com/articles/117/1171651p1.html... good info.
Destructible environments, full co-op modes, weapon info etc.
Game looks killer, cant wait!

IGN: Was there any discussion about adding shooter mechanics like a cover system or regenerative health to the game, or would that be blasphemous?
Roman Ribaric: Cover system??? Regenerating health??? You can't be Serious!

Fuck yeah, PC exclusive? Day one. Release a stupid collector's edition, I'll buy it to toss these bastards a few extra dollars.
Vote with your wallet.
WANT!
Edit:
LOL, "shooter mechanics". As far as I can tell those are console mechanics. I'v been PC gaming long enough to know that up until recently you had a health bar, and when it was gone, you're dead. Period. It's nice to see real PC games still being made.
I'll be right there with you. Maximum whoring options from the word "go."![]()
I hope it doesn't take itself seriously like it the graphics make it seem. that was the beauty of the SS first and second encounter. SS2 on the other hand was a pile of shit.
the first SS just had a perfect blend of silliness and a sort of seriousness.

Serious Sam was always on the brink of technology. When the first and second encounters were released (back in DX7 days), they looked amazing, despite the silly and fun factors of the game. Having great graphics, does not make a game any less silly and fun, especially in the context of the "story" in serious sam.
I'm pretty sure it's the same thing with SS3. Amazing graphics and the same silliness across the board.
