Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3320620AS (Perpendicular Recording Technology) 320GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM

I am at school and can't dig through search threads and need to pick this up today for folks. $0.249/GB is the sweet spot currently right? The 7200.10 model number is the one everyone recommends from a couple of threads I did pull up. Is this correct? Last question to confirm, the 5yr warranty applies to their OEM drives?

Thanks much. This is a local pickup also @ same price and I just used the egg for ref.

yes, yes, and yes

I actually prefer the 320GB model over the 500GB and 750GB because it seems to be notably quieter. The price is great too. :)

They also have a 500GB Samsung for $119 this week, but I'd still go for the 320GB Seagate.

There's a bunch of people that think this drive is loud,i have 5 of them running that are hot swappable and my cpu fan is louder than all 5 of them by far, and the cpu fan isn't even that loud. I just ordered 5 more (500gig versions) a few minutes ago to almost complete my raid array. I would say these are great drives and almost positive the 5 year warrenty comes with them, just check the egg i beleive it posts them. And .20/gb is what alot of people are waiting for, i'd say 22-24 cents would be really good and that would be average. The drive is a pretty decent drive though so i'd reccomend it at that price, the 500gig is at 27 cents a gig which isn't to shabby either. Preformance on these drives i would say are a little above average.

Yes to all the questions except for local pickup. Dunno of any place that you can get that drive at Newegg prices.
