Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Got a question..I have a SCSI 29320 adaptec card
will Win 7 see it on a fresh install and read the HD or do I have to load drivers separately like with xp
You'll have to try it and find out. Some SCSI cards have built-in drivers even in XP, but I'm not aware of a list that says what is and what isn't built-in. It's pretty painless considering you don't need to load them with a floppy drive on Windows 7 however.
Yes..Win 7 found drive, I formated loaded OS and there was an update..All is good.
The problem was no A drive, though in win7 you can load drivers during a fresh install.
The board I was using does not even have a connector for the A drive. I am sure there is a work around, I just don't know it.
I don't know how u would install in XP without an A drive..
it should be noticed. I'm running a similar Adaptec card in my main rig (I forget which one) and i've never had driver issues with windows finding it - from windows xp to windows 7.
