Unfortunately I just don't have the time to maintain my folding farm anymore. Life happens. Therefore, in an effort to simplify my life some I have opted to scale back my folding farm greatly. I'm not sure if what I have left will even qualify as a garden. I am not leaving by any means but won't be contributing as much.

BTW: Check out the DC FS subforum for some great deals as I sell off my equipment. I am hoping that it can be put to good use by some worthy folders around here.

 
So tempted to sell all my stuff and start anew with your gear...

If you still want to contribute but want a lot less babysitting, you might want to take a look at joining the World Community Grid (WCG) HardOCP team. The BOINC client is maintenance free. Unless I change projects I dont touch mine for months at a time. Literally. We could use the help if you have some free CPU cores and are interested. Best of luck to you.

Hate to hear that you're having to scale down lassiter, but life *does* happen and there are more immediate needs at hand I'm sure. Awesome deals you've got on the hardware, and you can certainly be sure it'll be folding [H]ard with the potential clients you've got lined up. You're always among friends here so keep dropping in and offering your helpful advice often.

Wow, most of my hardware has already sold, that was fast. I'm still running my highest PPD box (Dual GTX295), everything else is pretty much gone.
 
It's a shame, but life happens. In any case, it looks like all of your old hardware is going to end up folding for the team under other peoples' names, so it's not too bad. I wish you the best of luck and I hope that at some point you might catch the bug again and start growing a new farm ;).

I highly suspect that I will, I have always been very competive in nature and might not be able to stand it when I start getting mowed over.
