SATA RAID SETUP WORKS!!!! But......

ok i setup my sata raid rig that i have been staring at for the past 3 weeks waiting on some final parts to come to my door. Here is my rig:

amd64 3200
msi meo2 nforce3 platnum
2x512 corsair xms
2x60gb maxtor sata hd

setup was a snathc. i studied the setup for about 2 weeks, so i knew what to do in theory. thankfully in practice too :) without one hiccup.
however i see in my task bar, near my clock, a "safely remove hardware" icon. I open it up and its my sata drives. They work totally fine and everything is kosher, just wondering why i got this issue. thanks for the input!
 
By issue you mean "feature"
and that feature is the ability to hot swap your sata drives
