Mine was not supposed to ship until the 18th. Low and behold, FedEx showed up Saturday morning with it.

And mine was supposed to ship the 1st and I have nothing! Sounds ass backwards to me...

Picked up a S7 yesterday from Sprint and got a Gear VR today. I'm rather blown away by the experience. This is my first experience with VR. I was sold on the concept of VR a long time ago, but now I'm 100% convinced. My next big tech purchase will be a Rift or Vive, sometime in the next year. The 360 experiences on the Gear VR are incredible. A couple of them even managed to trigger my fear of heights. To the point where I flung my arms out to grip my desk and the wall next to me. I've been an avid fan of 3D since the early days of 3D Vision and it's reemergance in theaters, but the 3D on the Gear VR blows any 3D experience I've ever had out of the water.
