For the last 10 years are so before I discoverd this website I bought only Lite-on Drives. Which were a hit and miss. Some would only read a disc for a week then die.
Others would last 4 years and sound like a jet engine on crack. Some would work perfectly then just stop my system from responding, Others would stop communicateing
( lightscribe read communication error) which would be fixed with a restart....

I decided to buy either samsung or LG drives right? Well I went Samsung and I like the drive so I bought one with and one without lightscribe(diffrent times). So they are as followes
SH223F
DISCONTINUED looks the same though.
SH223L

Not only are they queit...I never ever have any of the problems above

My question is I see that LG has a bluray burner that matches previous drives and I want them all to Match...
Why doesn't samsung have a Bluray Burner that matches these drives. (all the DVD/CD duplicators look like this).
I know the question seems generic, but I can't seem to find any bluray burners from samsung on Newegg....

I mean to say is there a reason they don't manufacture them?

Samsung likely just got out of the market due to lack of sales/profit, although the drives they used to sell didn't seem to have bad reviews, but the prices back then were insanely high, which is the norm with new tech.

For every burner I've ever bought it was always after reading through the reviews here...

Do you think(I know speculation) that they might possibly in the future? I'm starting to think that I should just sell my 2 drives and get lg.... My monitor is lg anyway.

I would just think it would be stupid not to!
