Safe i5 Voltages?

Your RAM is whats going to hold you back. As you raise your CPU freq...... it also raises NOISE in the Ram Bus. More voltage eventually lets you power thru the noise but if you would drop the ram from 1600 to 1333 in your settings you can get more OC on the CPU at lower voltage.

Just the way it is peeps.
 
The stock fans move alot of air but they are very loud, pretty much sound like a fan you'd put in your room to keep it cool. There are voltage reducers that come with the kit which allow them to run at a reduced speed and not be as loud.
 
Anyone else have the P55-GD85?

I just went from the UDR3 to the GD85 because my system became unstable. I have the i5/750 and even using the OC genie, I have not been able to get any kind of a stable oc over 3.3ghz

I am posting from my phone, so I am not sure what my setting are, but I have a DH14 and a decent ps.

I need to just dig in and see what can be done, bu have not yet had the time and inclination at the same time...
