Ryzen 2700x $280

Same price for the 8700k if you prefer Intel. You have like 2 minutes to order though.

Damn, the app keeps on bugging out when I enter the code and apply it.

Decided against it. Came out to right about $300 shipped. Not sure if I really need the two extra cores, my 1600 @ 3.8GHZ does okay right now. Would XFR 2.0 boost that to 4.3 GHZ on an X370 board? Using an AS Rock X370 Killer SLI/AC.

From what I've read, 2700X will hit 4.2-4.3GHz on an X370 mother board - not sure if it's via XFR or manual overclocking though.

On another note - glad I live near a Micro Center. 2700X + X370/X470 motherboard was getting a $50 bundle discount on launch day and is pretty much the norm (i.e. always some sort of $30/$40/$50 bundle discount).
