Rift vs Vive

The Vive website says the Vive is in stock and will take my order for $799 and $15.60 for 2 day shipping. Is it not true?
 
I was just reading someone placed an order yesterday for a Vive and the unit is shipping today.

It's definitely true. Just follow the Daily Updates on the r/Vive subreddit. Shipments are going out quick. Looks like HTC is finally catching up. Apparently there are some Canadians who are getting screwed but the shipments are going out quick. I ordered April 30th and got it on May 21st. They're shipping out even sooner now from what I can tell.
