My motherboard died so of course I had to disassemble my Cosair H50. Well, because they make you use those two double sided adhesive piece on the back bracket, it was a pain to take off. This was the best I could do. Is this ok to reuse, or should I try and find some sort of replacement? The other side is pretty much level except for a small part on the corner.

I bought a used H50 in the same condition as yours and I'm using the bracket with no adhesive and no problems. I think the adhesive is intended to make it easier to install the bracket but I could be wrong.
 
It should be fine, yes the adhesive is there to mainly help you hold things in place till you get it screwed down and once screwed down that foam would get fully compressed anyway. Not pretty but it should not affect anything.

Next time use a hairdryer to warm and soften the adhesive as you gently pry it off, nice little trick for removing all kinds of heatsink backplates these days that use the same kind of "stick on" deal.


If it really bothers you what you are looking for is some firm closed cell weatherstrip at a hardware store etc. Finding wide enough might be a pain but laying a couple of thinner strips side by side would work too.

thats no big deal, the first time i installed the h50 i didn't even use adhesive.
you should rather think about whether you need new thermal paste.
