bummed out now. computer issues again. was playing CoH this morning. sitting at the screen press any key after you select continue campaign was that screen maybe 15 minutes when all of a sudden the screen went to all line vertically on the screen it was like they were small boxes with 4 white line each that are maybe 1/4 inch tall the screen was filled like that. I reset BIOS still get nothing. I do not have the time nor the parts or room to properly test the stuff. I had the CPU OC a bit maybe 200 from 2.2 to 2.4 gig That is not even close to pushing the cpu even close to its threshold. I have a friend that has a friend who owns a computer shop in West Seneca. Not sure if he would charge me to have computer looked at or not. I would rather save up the money and put it towad new MB if I need to. Fu@# I am so bummed now. This really sucks

I am having same issue with replacement board as I had with board in this thread.

http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1137889

I took a look at the cx reviews on newegg about the Antec Smartpower 2.0 450 psu.

90% of the people have had issues with it either it was DOA or it died anywhere from a month to a little over a year. Mine lasted close to a year and a half. I think the CPU memory and GPU are good but board may be toast now. GPU I put into wifes computer have not had any issues at all with it. Wathced the movies Cars and thing went great.

I'd just see if you can get a used s939 board from the FS/FT section. Chances are it's either the board or your PSU. If you get something like an A8N-E and you still have problems, change out your PSU. If you look around, I bet you could get a decent s939 NF4 Ultra board for around $50 used. RMA your Epox again and then sell it.
