anyone know where i can find some of these? reason i want one of those is because the wire is spliced to work with the fan speed adjuster that comes with the Big Water series

love the water cooling, i have 2 sysetms, one was my brothers he gave me that i had in storage and the other was mine i put on my current build roughly 4 years ago

well, sadly, the first fan crapped the bed and now the second fan has as well, but this time it was my fault, i took the protector off because it was making some noise and i kinda dropped a light into it while it was running, snapping off a blade and it kept making noise after, so i took it off the radiator

the CPU temp hasnt even gone above 31c yet, without a fan attached

In short no, and I have looked and looked and looked but.....

I looked all over last year and cound not find any, even at the thermaltake store which carries their discontinued and refurb items. ( I ended up buying a refurb Hardcano fan controller and mounting it in a drive bay and using reg fans after mine died after 4 years. ) You got me curious and I tried a quick look again today. Still no luck.

But I did find this, its blue, its a little high priced, and I dont care for coolermaster fans BUT I think this would plug right in. Check me as I no longer use the slot mounted speed controller but I a almost certain this fan has the same connector (small 2 pin, actually it has 2, one for manual varialble speed and one for the thermistor control you would not use - unless you wanted to go with the included controller). Fairly certain this would work as a direct plug and go. If you can stand the blue. I think it might be available in red.

Also you might look for other adjustable speed fans and find another with the small 2 pin connector (just runs the red wire to a variable resistor/speed control and back to the fan)

actually, im wondering now, do i really need to be able to control the fan speed? if i just put a regular 120mm silent fan on there, and take the fan control slot out, that wouldnt be so bad right?

the computer is alot quieter right now without the fan going haha can barely hear the computer running

Well if it is staying as cool as you say without a fan, sure, a nice 1200 rpm fan would be quiet and do the job. Maybe even lower rpm. You have a lot of options once you decide to not try to find a exact "plug right in " replacement.

Me, I like the fans with the built in thermistors/temp sensors. Hook up like a normal fan but adjust themselves depending on temp (would need to be pulling air through the rad to get an accurate temp).

But sure, go with what you think best, with that no fan temp so low, anything should work well. Thats the best part I like about the front panel fan controller, unless I fire up a game I keep mine running as low as they will go. I really notice the noise when I forget to turn them back down. Not having to mess with it at all is even better !

i think im gonna research the quietest fan around, because this is really nice, its barely making noise but everything is working properly, i even manually turned up my 5850 just to hear some noise :)

i think im just gonna go with a good silent 120mm, the fan i had on my radiator was maxed the entire time i had it on there anyways, so something around 1200rpm would be perfect

i have a coolermaster 830 stacker, so theres tons of air flow and room in there, just need the fan on the radiator to keep the 'push/pull' air flow going

just gonna have to wait to play any games until i get a fan on there, then again when the radiator was clogged with hair and dust, it was reaching 45c regularly... that was kinda scary
