Removing Display Ports

I have two ATI cards that use Display ports, a 5870 and a 5770. I have a very difficult time removing the display ports from the back of these cards. I really have to pull to remove them. Is there a trick or something, I'm scared I will break it one day.

you should have a push down latch on the cables.

Haha, sounds like my first time with displayport cables. They need to be pressed in as stated above, so that you unlock them

lol! Lucky enough I didn't break the card, but I know what to do next time.
