Removing Display Ports

I have two ATI cards that use Display ports, a 5870 and a 5770. I have a very difficult time removing the display ports from the back of these cards. I really have to pull to remove them. Is there a trick or something, I'm scared I will break it one day.
 
Haha, sounds like my first time with displayport cables. They need to be pressed in as stated above, so that you unlock them :p
