I find the red highlighted text in posts really annoying, mostly because i find it hard to read. Is there anyway to change the color or not have the highlight an option?
thanks

Nope, its advertising, it's called intellitext and its the bane of the internet. But admins still use it all over the place. You'll get used to it. :(

What Red text?

You mean the echo/intelltext stuff?

Whilst on the subject I spy a new banner at the bottom.

It is needed to pay for the forums that go down every other day.

It's a necessary evil. Keeps the forums free. Keep that in mind and the text is a lot easier to look at.

or how about a second subscription tier, where for a price, you have no adverts on your page?

How about a skin for guests that contains loads of ads everywhere then one that perhaps only has a small banner for members?

It will also be an incentive for members to register, (and help my horridly high UID).

yes i just sent Kyle a pm about tiered subscriptions. I mean Filplanet does it(please no spam).
One is skinned with ads, one without.
You PAY to not have the ads...seems pretty simple and common sense to offer it or at least give it a try.
