Reinstalling a Corsair H50

I am relocating my components from one case to another and I am wondering about my H50. I am going to try and avoid having to remove the heatsink/waterblock from the motherboard. However, if I do have to remove and reinstall it, should I figure on removing the thermal paste from the CPU and H50 and applying new?

You need to reapply thermal compound EVERY time you remove the heatsink. You will get horrible contact if you don't. You get tons of air pockets if you try to reuse it.
