So I am building my sister a computer. Nothing fancy. The only parts I need are a mobo and a CPU.

AMD or Intel doesn't matter. The main use of the computer will be internet, word processing and the occasional movie.

My main question is about a decent cheap motherboard that will last a while. I need a reliable motherboard, but I really don't have the time to do a lot of research. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

My personal reccomendation would be this combo for the amd route
Asus M3a78-CM AM2+, asus so good quality, micro-atx, and decent onboard video, 4 ram slots and pcie 16x slot, and a bunch of sata ports
Athlon x2 5200 processor decently fast processor, running in my system now and works great and runs fairly cool, my 7800gtx is currently limiting the cpu but i can play any game on the market.
Combo price 122.99 with free shipping, and makes a nice system.

I'd probably get an E5200/G31 board for that price. Just have to check to make sure it supports the 45nm processors. I've seen combos as low as $105 or so from Mwave. I'm sure Newegg has something similar if priced slightly higher.
