Recovering data after a reformat?

My friend just called me up and said he reformatted his computer, but apparently forgot to copy all of files.

Is there a way for him to recover the data without paying $10,000+ for a professional to do it for him?

He hasn't touched the computer since he reinstalled Windows XP.

GetDataBack from runtime.org, saved my butt several times and even though it cost like $50 (I think) its well worth it and if you use it on a few clients or friend, pays for itself.

Also shows you what can be recovered before you have to purchase it
