Recommended setttings for SSD RAID0

I've got a second G.SKILL Phoenix Pro 120GB SSD coming on Friday and I was planning on setting them up in a RAID0.
I've only dabbled with RAID once before on a couple WD640AAKS drives a couple years back on the Intel ICH9R.
Can anyone recommend settings for this type of setup? Would it be roughly the same as a mechanical RAID setup?
Also, the motherboard in question is the Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD5. It has both AMD's RAID and Gigabyte raid for the two SATA 6.0gb/s ports.
I've googled and googled and googled for this answer to no avail: Does anyone know which performs better? I've heard less than impressive things about AMD's RAID capabilities.

Set-up is exactly like mechanical drives but I know nothing about the ins & outs of AMD's RAID drive configuration.

It has both AMD's RAID and Gigabyte raid for the two SATA 6.0gb/s ports.

I don't believe I've ever seen a comparison.
