i love my mini p180 so much, however it takes up too much space :(
so i ended up sold my case to a friend who willing to pay the full price for a case, so i can pick a smaller case :)
but right now i have two stuck in my mind, one is Lian Li PC-V350B and the other one is Silverstone Sugo SG02
but i really dunno which one to pick... i thought starting a poll like would help me pick a case lol

one thing to add is that i would like to play/mod with whatever case i am going to get... but probably some minor mod not like crazy mod like other ppl have done so far @_@
and i m thinking should i also sell my P5Q-EM since my friend who bought my case kinda wants it and i can stick with something like P5E-VM HDMI since i wont be overclocking this rig... ( so i can have some extra cash to mod the case :p ) and i m going to use a BFG 8800GT OC ( it is a good card execpt everytime when i boot it up... it make a really crazy noise with the fan... spin real fast... after 5-10 second it will slow back down to normal... is there something wrong? it is a free card btw :D )

by the way anyone know what is the difference with these RAMs to the normal ones?

beside the heat spreader is black and maybe the PCB is also black ( or maybe it is green but the picture quality affected it a little )? and itz like $20 more expensive
and what is up with the Pi version? it looks a little ugly to me... does it even help cooling?

as for CPU... i m thinking should i be using the Q6600 or E8400... because the Q9450 will be out of the picture very soon ( thatz right... i dont like it as much as the Q6600 lol )

PS. please excuse my poor typing... i havent slept for the pass 32hrs... and i just had a farewell party with my friend... aka drinking! so i cant really tell if i am typing what i m thinking... and as usual... my writing is just horrible lol

i m just curious that is it possible to lower than RAM from DDR2-1000 to DDR2-667 so i will get the 1:1 memory divider for the Q6600 planning to go like 9x333 for 3.0GHz

thanks for the info about the video card fan going nuts at boot up :)

Are you talking lower the RAM speed or getting slower RAM like DDR2 667? I say just get DDR2 800 since A) it's not that much more then DDR2 667 in cost and B) cheaper than DDR2 1000 RAM
 
oh i meant lowering the RAM speed to DDR2-667 speed like 333MHz
so it will be 1:1 FSB to RAM when i set the Q6600 to 9x333
so i was hoping that a DDR2-800 RAM can let me go down to the speed of a DDR2-667 RAM
seems like it too much of a drop from DDR2-1000 to DDR2-667 but thatz just my noob-ness

Yes you can lower the RAM speed of either DDR2 800 or DDR2 1000 RAM to DDR2 667 RAM.
 
and will i be using less voltage on the RAM since it slower? and probably tighter timing?
and also is it true the E8400 is cooler than Q6600 when both on stock? because 2 vs 4 cores?

The minimum DDR2 RAM voltage is 1.8V. And yes the E8400 does run a bit cooler at stock.

and because its 45nm. Smaller die process typically means less voltage. Less voltage typically means less heat. Less heat typically means longer lasting chip.
 
less voltage means pay less when the bill comes
pay less when the bill comes and longer lasting chip means save more money :p
i m just bored lol
