A friend of mine wants to buy 1Gb rdram for his 5 year-old pc (he doesn´t want to buy a new one). His motherboard is the Intel D850GB series (dunno the exact model i.e GBL or GB or GBAL) which supports up to 2Gb. I´ve found the board´s specs (the manual refers to both GB and GBAL) and it says it has 4 168-pin slots.
The rimms already on the system are samsung pc800-45 and only have a serial number on them.
Isn´t rdram suposed to be 184pin or 232pin only?
Does anybody know the exact kind of memory this board gets?
Thanks!!!
