I originally had 2 x 128MB of PC133 CL2 in my machine. The motherboard only holds 2 sticks, 256MB maximum for each slot.
I bought a piece of Crucial 256 PC133 CL2 off eBay about 2 weeks ago, and used that alongside my 128MB stick, giving me 384MB. All was well.
I bought another Crucial 256 PC133 off eBay and it came today. It doesn't work. It's CL3 however. It shouldn't make a difference, should it?
I already looked in my BIOS and it doesn't say anything about RAM timings, etc. Can I do anything? Or, do I have to contact the eBayer and try to get it sent back and refunded?
