Have an HP server configured with raid 5 wiht parity phyical disks 8 slots 0-7.
Before I get blasted I am coming in behind another tech who left a mess.

First disk failed former tech removed hard disk in slot 7 while server was running and disk in slot 0 had failed. unable to get to windows, server continually reboots.

In the raid utility slot 0 and slot 7 are grayed out and however it see's the other disk. When machine reboots get message no array found and no disk found.

Any suggestions on how I might rebuilld or recover data on file server?

This client is down and they do not have a recent backup
