trying to run my 4850 on windows 2000,cant seem to get any drivers to install?Any tips? Can it be done?

Unfortunately, if the Omega drivers don't work, you're pretty much out of luck trying to get the 4850 working on 2K.
 
Thought of something else. Are you trying to install the whole suite, or just the driver? If it's CCC, you need .NET 2.0, and IDK if it will install under W2K.
 
you can trick the driver set buy changing the windows version in the registry. That should allow you to install said video card drivers without any troubles.

sometimes the config file for the installer has the windows version to check for in it and you can alter it there as well
