Radiator Question

I want to run an MCW6500 (TEC waterblock) on the loop, which would generate a horrible amount of heat. I need a beefy radiator and came across the Danger Den Black Ice GT Stealth 360 which is about $60shipped... and the Thermochill PA120.3 is well over $135. Would I be better off using two of the DD 360's for both price and performance? I just need 3 additional fans...

I figure if space is not an issue, two of the DD rads (or any other 3x120 rad that cost half the thermochill) MUST outperform the single thermochill no matter how much better it is supposed to be.

Anything wrong with this logic?
Would 2 rads be too much for the pump to deal with?

its all about air over fins so offhand (as the L x W area is about the same) I would say the more expensive rad would have to be twice as thick as one of the rads you are considering buying two of in order to perform as well and excessivly thick cores are a problem in themselves. So I am with ya. I do not care what "magic" is claimed for the more expensive one, unless the inexpensive one is a restrictive total POS (maybe it is ? ) 2x fin area/volume is better than 1x fin area/volume if you can figure out where to put it.

What pump ? What dia tubing?

Should not be an issue with any decent strong pump and at least 7/16 ID tubing but I am not up on the newer pumps out there, someone else might know more.

I was thinking:

Pump:
Swiftech MCP655 (1/2" ID Tubing)

Block:
swiftech mcw6500

2nd PSU (for pelt)
Meanwell S-320-12 12V, 25A Switching PSU

I don't know if i can run a GPU block with the pelt solution or not. Will have to see how the water temp levels out.

I am still designing this setup, will buy parts mid-late June.
