Known Issues

  • HDTV displays may intermittently lose signal on some Radeon RX 480 series graphics products when connected over HDMI®.
  • Call of Duty™: Advanced Warfare may experience a game hang when performing a task switch.
  • Radeon WattMan may fail to apply settings on some Radeon R9 390 series graphics products.
  • Radeon Settings may crash on switching Windows® user after toggling AMD CrossFire™ technology mode.
  • A small amount of apps may still experience issues with Borderless Fullscreen mode and AMD FreeSync™ technology if other applications or game launchers are running on the primary screen in the background.
  • Counter-Strike™: Global Offensive and World of Warcraft™ may experience flickering or performance issues the first time the game is launched on a system boot with AMD FreeSync™ technology enabled. Workarounds include exiting and restarting the application or task switching (alt+tab) in and out of the game to fix the issue.

Known Issues for Radeon ReLive

  • The XBOX™ DVR application may cause conflicts with Radeon ReLive, users are suggested to disable XBOX™ DVR if Radeon ReLive is experiencing issues.
  • Radeon ReLive may fail to install on AMD APU Family products or experience a system hang or failure to record when using the recording feature on AMD APU Family products.
  • Radeon ReLive may intermittently fail to work after performing task switches of applications in multi display system configurations. A work around is to disable and then enable the feature in Radeon Software.
  • Radeon ReLive may exhibit corruption in recordings when capturing Microsoft Office applications.
  • Radeon ReLive may experience recording or streaming issues when task switching using ALT+TAB.

FYI, if you downloaded the file with apr26 at the end, it puts an icon on the desktop for Quake Champions. They backpedaled on that and put the driver out again with apr27 at the end. Most people will simply just delete the icon from the desktop vs. downloading the entire driver file again.
 
Still breaks Forza Horizon 3. they could at least add that to "Known Issues" since Turn 10 has already reported it to AMD
 
is it just me or is the new software missing the overclocking part? *bummer*

I used AMD chill for WoW and now on my Ryzen system it is not longer here, bit odd.

If you did a clean install option it happens, install previous drivers and install the newer one over that without clean install.
 
I did that and my card would not work lol so it was clean install for me I will try that when I get a moment or 2

The only installer options shown are express or custom, if you are referring to removing the drivers I do that in safe mode with DDU.

When you are installing the drivers in the custom option you can opt for clean install which will delete previous drivers safely, reboot and install newer one automatically.. (basically what you do with DDU). That can cause things like wattman, relive or chill dissappear as most drivers are released as "hotfix".. I tend to install hot fix drivers over previous ones to avoid as much issues as possible, only performing clean install with whql drivers (very few ones)
