I bought a hard drive a while back, and it has always been a little noisy, not the read/write but the high pitch noise of the spindle. I just moved and the only place for the comp is in my room. Is there any way to reduce this noise? It's a 120g 7200 and i forgot who makes it. If that's impt i could open it up and check. Thanks.
 
does anyone out there have some first hand experience with these? any recommendations?
