This might be a stupid question, but bare with me. Ive been out of the computer world for a few years, I just got back into it and ordered an entire new system

My question is: Does it matter how the PSU is mounted? My PC P&C 610W had to be mounted upside down inmy Antec P180 case in order to fit properly. Will mounting it upside down have any adverse effects? Thank you in advance :)

No, it shouldn't. The only way orientation would matter on a PSU (their components don't normally care what side is "up") would be if there was venting or a fan on the top of the PSU, which would obviously then be blocked by the bottom of the case. I had to do the same thing with my Silencer 750.
