This might be a stupid question, but bare with me. Ive been out of the computer world for a few years, I just got back into it and ordered an entire new system

My question is: Does it matter how the PSU is mounted? My PC P&C 610W had to be mounted upside down inmy Antec P180 case in order to fit properly. Will mounting it upside down have any adverse effects? Thank you in advance

No, it shouldn't. The only way orientation would matter on a PSU (their components don't normally care what side is "up") would be if there was venting or a fan on the top of the PSU, which would obviously then be blocked by the bottom of the case. I had to do the same thing with my Silencer 750.
