Does it support 3 independent displays (no eyefinity)

I want to run dual monitors at my desk and output to a HDTV for movies and such.

Or do I still need a secondary card for the third display?

Good question...I always just assumed it did, but don't know for sure i guess. The answer should apply to any 5xxx series as well.

The same requirements as Eyefinity apply. The third display must be using the Displayport or an active Displayport to whatever adapter. You can run them in extended mode instead of spanning them. Any mode that normally works with two works with three monitors and even six on the Eyefinity6 cards. You can clone, extend, or span any number of displays on the 5 and 6 series cards just remember that everything after two must be through Displayport and requires Windows Vista or 7.
