Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I just recently received a x1800xt PCI-E card. Everytime I alt-tab out I get a pause, and my dell 2005FPW glitches a little between the switch (white lines for .5 secs). Wondering if anyone knows what this is?
Depends on the game, and depends on the video card, and depends on how much ram you have.
Some games play nicer with Alt-Tab than others. I know some that don't support it at all. I remember when most cards didn't even support it properly.
You kids these days, want your Alt-tab to function %100 of the time
If it is a game that likes ram (like Oblivion, Battlefield 2, etc), and you have 1GB or less, it will probably take longer to alt-tab back to the desktop, because the game is using every bit of memory it can.
I have 1gb of memory in this machine, never flickered like this before I installed this card. Just wondering if anyone knows why it happens particularly with this card? It happens when I alt-tab out of World of Warcraft.
